Do Now:  Think about art, movies or songs that explore social issues and discuss them with your neighbors
Agenda:

>  Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) to guide us through Intention Setting
Exit Pass:  Fist to 5 ranking of your understanding of EA1
HW:  Bring in titles/artists that explore social issues
Day 2 - Thu. 1/19/17 & Fri. 1/20/17
Essential Question:  How can writers/artists improve or advance social awareness about issues?
Do Now:  Write down some of the titles/artists you thought of that explore social issues - and discuss them with your neighbors

>  Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) to guide us through Intention Setting
>  FYI - there will be timed writing next week
